The idiocy that masquerades as logic in these people's heads baffles me. "Hey, I know! Rich people have lots of money! Let's make them pay for this!" ... These "wealthy" already pay over 90% of the tax burden. You want to add more to it? And what will you do when they leave? We live in a global economy. Wealth exists in the US due to policies that make businesses and the wealthy want to be here. Push them and they will leave. They certainly have the resources for it. Raising taxes doesn't necessarily increase revenue. I can't believe those in charge of drafting fiscal policy don't understand this. FFS.
