That probably wasnt quite as epic as i thought it might be. Im sorry that i let all of you down. I made a bad call. :(
ALSO, for full effect in reading this message, you have to realize that i was typing kinda slowly, thinking up what i was going to say, and saying the words out loud as i typed.

Great post...
This test is so stupid.
Basically most answers go against common sense. Thanks for the post! |

To introduce myself i am writing freelance about the Unicru to create a report and answer guide on it. I intend to eventually send a similar report with crafted arguments to members of the United States Congress as well informing them of the issues surrounding the Unicru test specifically I'm thinking of Ron Paul (R) and Dennis Kusinich (D) to start with. If anyone else knows of anyone else who might be interested into looking into this please remark.
In a letter addressed to Dranok who I contacted via email I has asked him how large of a survey he took on the test and found that he did post pretty much everything he knew about the test already and I also wrote to him my findings as well on the subject in full as shown below: --- Begin MESSAGE --- Anyways, according to multiple sources I have found and confirmed through a several people who have access to these scores (associates working personnel at a Lowe's and several Walmart locations in Tallahassee, FL and Eugene, OR) that there are only two possible correct answers "SA" or "SD." Agree and Disagree answers are scored lower and are never the correct answer apparently. Also I've compiled a paper on the subject on my blog: http://liekkisusi.wordpress.com/soap...essment-guide/ Where I have prepared a PDF document that contains "Activist Materials" and an old answer key. I plan to be updating it soon and wanted so share some of my insights so that I could provide an up-to-date report on this subject. I should really write a book on this topic before it gets out of hand. This test reminds me of some of the tests that Scientologists use (might even by the same one) to declare everyone who takes it as being problematic -- which actually seems to be the core design of the test itself. It also echoes the early psychiatric tests the Nazis used for "reeducation" purposes where they could declare anyone as being "life unworthy of life (Lebensunwertes Leben)" because they diagnosed "clinically insane." This kind of profiling of society has never in the history of mankind ever benefited the people and it's only a matter of time before government comes along and decides to use tests like this in schools and their unemployment programs -- who knows what the real aim behind a move like that would be? On a less paranoid note, I have to wonder if Unicru could decide to cross-reference applications and let's say you took the test for one company's application could they look up your past surveys results and notice a trend and then deny you a job based on past surveys. That is a scary thought: Especially since this test seems to be design to make most people fail. There is absolutely no ways short of lying the average person could ever pass this test. Secondly, it seems like some question and answer sets are actually designed to conflict. I'm going to sit down this weekend after I finish doing some coding for my game and take a better look at the questions just to see if there is a trend here that I've missed between the questions and maybe do a battery and inventory grouping of the questions. Thanks: Liekkisusi --- END MESSAGE --- In addition I have also looked inspected several question even further and have found conflicts between where appear to be expected answers and archtypical qualities. I cannot figure out if these are are to ensure consistency of a certain personality type or if they are aspects that the testers want to be conflicting. Here are the questions that follow, some of them also new question that do not appear on the original listing: You attract attention to yourself : ? Original analysis: "Hm. Histrionics need not apply. SD. You are a smart, unassuming, outgoing, eager, shallow, meek but aggressive little drone, aren't you? Yep. SD." My thought: Probably SD. However, this causes conflict with other questions so that are similar in nature. This question could either be looking to bar someone who might be a potential boat-rocker or it could be a confidence question. In school or on a job, you could be doing better than you are : ? Original analysis: This indicates that you aren't trying hard enough. But you do that. So you disagree. (SD is too egotistical for me.) My thought: SD. Same reason. This question could also be a measure of confidence in your work to. You often tell other people what to do : ? My analysis: SD. I do not think this is a leadership question, however it might be in that case if it is testing for leadership it would be SA. Anyone have any insight into this one. You'd rather blend into a crowd than stand out : ? My analysis: SD. Here is the catch with that answer if you agree then you would conflict with many of the other questions on the test because an extrovert wants attention by their very nature. On the other hand, this may be asking you whether or not you expect to be noticed for your work -- something a lot of retail and corporate jobs don't want in a candidate worker. People can tell when you are happy or sad : ? My analysis: SD, because it is bad form to show emotion other than cheerful on the sales floor. Again this conflicts with an extrovert personality because an extrovert projects his feelings. Also, people who bottle everything up may be viewed as psychotic which means the correct answer might be SA. When people make mistakes, you correct them : ? Original analysis: This one is tough, but is likely an assertiveness question. I'd go with agree here. My Analysis: SA. This may be a leadership question or a measure of your thoroughness on the job. Plus, this is a very extroverted quality. On the other hand, this could be an SD because you could be perceived as rude if you do. After all, you wouldn't want to hurt someones feeling. So, anyone else have any thoughts on whether my gut interpretation is right or am I off because I am misinterpreting the motive behind the question? I'm going to see if I can get more information from my chaps who work in HR at a few of these companies. They've been reluctant to tell me much about this test so they may not know much or this information may be under some sort of special copyright and patent (which would technically be invalid under US law), or Kronos may be using the threat of civil law-suits to prevent the discussion of this information. Either way, companies and their personnel seem to not want to comment on the subject. If anyone knows someone who works personnel in a facility that uses Unicru and has access to applicant information, could you please see if it would be possible to set me up an interview with them so we could discuss the topic further? Anyways, I'm going to try and see if I can get on a radio show soon to bring attention to this once I get everything set in order. I'm working as hard as I can on this project and there's still so much I have to go through on this topic.

That's pretty damn awesome. I think more people need to hear about this.
Let us know if you get on the radio ;) I'd love to host a recording of it if possible or at least link to the station ;)
